JDF is NOT as alive as PDF, nor will it ever be. What made PDF “useable” was Enfocus PitStop – where we could make PDF “work” dispite the people making them. JDF was supposed to be the great equalizer for automated workflow – but, if that is the case, where are the JDF tools ? Why are people using Gradual’s Switch ? um, perhaps, they need tools to make “wokflow automation” – standards are useless with out tools.

there is no JDF ecosystem.

Rock, I know you travel enough to know a 3 hour delay is simply child’s play in this day and age. As for all the JDF / PDF arguments I just want to know if you know what color it is?!?!?! Sorry I missed you at the show buddy.
