What made PDF "useable" was Enfocus PitStop - where we could make PDF "work" dispite the people making them. JDF was supposed to be the great equalizer for automated workflow - but, if that is the case, where are the JDF tools ? Why are people using Gradual's Switch ? um, perhaps, they need tools to make "wokflow automation" - standards are useless with out tools. there is no JDF ecosystem.
